The World Science Forum 2026 will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia and will be titled “Science for Global Resilience and Equity”.

Every two years, scientists from all over the world, gather for the World Science Forum with focus on the social and economic relevance, influence and responsibilities of science.

The WSF is a platform for the scientific community, public policy makers and communities to exchange ideas on the growing interdependence of science and society, and how science can help to address global challenges facing humanity.

During the four days of World Science Fora over 900 leading scientists, decision-makers from the world of politics, industry, representatives of the civil society and the media express their views on the new challenges facing science in the 21st century.
