Invitation to the African Research Initiative for Scientific Excellence (ARISE) webinar
The African Academy of Sciences (AAS) announced a call for applications for the ARISE pilot programme, funded by the EU through the Pan-African Programme with a commitment of €25 million (~USD30M) to empower early career African researchers to deliver cutting-edge research across Africa.
The call is open to African researchers with 2-7 years of post-PhD research experience, a scientific track record showing great promise, and an excellent research proposal to conduct cutting-edge research at an African university or research institution.
The ARISE pilot programme will hold a Q&A webinar on 15 July 2021 at 12:00-14:00 EAT to address questions from prospective applicants. Please register using the link below to attend the webinar.
