The Strategic Partnerships Directorate (SP) at the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), responsible for managing the South Africa (SA) – European Union (EU) Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Cooperation will be hosting two sessions/side events titled: “Showcasing success stories of previously funded ICT project under the SA-EU STI Cooperation” and “Opportunities in the SA-EU STI Cooperation”  at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria. On the 1^st of June 2023, The Directorate will showcase success stories and the impact of previously funded ICT projects of the European Union Framework Programme. Furthermore, this opportunity will allow the showcasing of the ESASTAP website and facilitate the desired reach across South Africa and Africa. Attendants will learn about available opportunities within the SA-European cooperation, how to access them and the application processes on the website.

The second session aims to present and highlight the Horizon Europe Framework Programme opportunities specifically in the Digital Industry thematic areas available to the South African National System of Innovation (NSI). This session will take place on the 2^nd of June 2023.
